Role Model

we need to understand

what we’re capable of,

be it a murderer

or an architect,

or an architect for murder,

capabilities

sanction and section

in the hierarchy

of social compatibility,

Jeffery Dahmer

ain’t no role model

but his commitment

to the cause has to be applauded,

Sweeny Todd understood

a razor blade can be used

as a switch blade,

Jack the Ripper

mastered anonymity,

somewhere there’s

a role model

in my personality

but whatever it turns

out to be, I'd advise

you never look up to me

because I’ll only

let you down
