Relics – The New Killing Fields

intrinsically connected

to brain death,

a deficiency in efficiency,

the new killing fields

have come to pasture

through attention deficit disorder,

too much screen time

equals a functioning decline

in time management,

the afflicted can’t help it,

it’s an underlying condition

stimulated through

finger to screen addiction,

the attention span

is the front runner for extinction,

the new dinosaur is conversation,

knowledge isn’t power

when the human condition

has an aversion to pen and paper,

a dictionary and words

with more than 10 letters,

gone are the days of the rich rewards

woken within the yield,

we’re in the end times,

the new killing fields
