The Deluge
ants surfing on rain drops
caterpillars fashioning mohawks,
the Venus fly trap drowns,
earthworms chew the ground,
stag beetles use dandelions
as umbrellas,
the ugly toad croaks a song
no one wants to hear,
the deluge
mightier than a tear,
smaller than
