Hog Roast

humanity is a hog roast

speared through

the anus cavity 

and

along 

the 

collective spine - less

it’s best

served cold,

partially boiled,

slow cooked,

rotated over 

the coals,

the home fires

ain’t burning,

they’re flickering,

being pissed on

by migrants posing

as scuba divers,

all reason has

been peppered 

and seasoned

with pretence,

the rabble are cackling,

hard to swallow

like crackling,

the aloof chew 

the hoof,

the privileged 

lick the ribs

and claw 

at the spine,

then the rich dine 

on the diners

before they 

make a toast

hear! hear!
