Teeth

I tripped scraping 

my chin on 

the pavement,

falling face first 

into the wall

I had a brawl

with myself

and lost,

knocked out 

in the first round

my teeth littered 

the ground, 

my smile 

exposed 

my gums,

it's no fun

smiling with

no teeth
