poisoning kings and queens 

is treason more now than it’s ever been,

such faith is murder

and permission to commit mass murder,

let us never forget, 

so heartless is loyalty

and to grant ones wish for freedom 

is something that we’ll never see

if we’re deaf to our nations voice,

power has poisoned you 

and your power has poisoned us,

if this country is to build through the ages

we must first enrich the lives of those 

who inhabit it’s shores, share it’s cities 

and live with the weight of your words

on their shoulders
