Chaser

Give me another Bloody Mary 

so I can deal with the morning, 

pour me just one more whisky chaser 

so I can maintain my sense of grandeur, 

the temptation of sobriety 

doesn't inspire me,  

who needs a clean slate 

when you can stay up and drink late

lets forget about the daybreak, 

it's 5' o'clock somewhere 

and without a care

I down whatever’s handed to me

pour me another shot of whiskey
