the ‘specialists’ come circling,
they quietly start their scribbling,
a clipboard per patient,
a wild eyed diagnosis

you may not agree with this specific stance,
so we’ll keep you sedated in a pharmaceutical trance,
your senses will suffer, you may wish you’d never been born,
unfortunately, you gave yourself to us
the moment you signed the consent form"
